2) How effective is distance learning?
Studies indicate that distance learning can be as
effective as the traditional format when the methods are

students with appropriate and timely feedback. |

3) What is LMS?
The Learning Management System (LMS) is the brain of
distance learning. LMS controls uploading of the
e-learning or distance learning tools such as media,
presentations (Macromedia Flash, PowerPoint, Camtasia, etc.) as references or links. LMS also manages the
self-paced courses and test scores. Our LMS
provides access to 6 types of users:
a) paid user: his/her course is already paid.
b) registered user: visits a website or promotion and
signs up by themselves.
c) tutor: manages the course content, flow and the
answers including the results.
d) admin user: owner of the learning material and has
access to the tutor section and paid or registered
users.
e) super user: controls multiple entities (admin users)
and could control multiple e-learning or distance
learning resellers.
f) system admin: this level gives us access to manage
any
bugs, and to set up access levels and subscriptions at a higher
level. |

4) What is DMS?
The Data Management System is used to generate
customized reports, manage the flow, and understand the
strong and weak areas of content management. This DMS
also lets you track individual or group behavior,
issues, tasks, reports and documents associated with
multiple projects. |

5) Why don't you offer a content creating tool such as
media, whiteboard, etc.?
Our objective is to create course-creating material and
provide tools to improve effectiveness of the users and
providers through our LMS and DMS. We believe creating
reference media such as video and audio is an art that
should be left to professionals. Besides the fact that
there are so many tools such as Camtasia, Macromedia Flash,
Adobe Breeze/Captivate/Authorware and PowerPoint, we
rarely see great material created through wizards.
